Since 1995, music industry veteran Danny Wimmer has been producing festivals, both large and small. In 2011, he formed Danny Wimmer Presents [DWP], which is now one of the largest independent promoters in the World. DWP’s commitments are simple: long-term growth, strong community relationships, unparalleled experiences, and significant economic impact.
DWP’s portfolio of festivals include Welcome to Rockville, Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Sonic Temple, Hometown Rising, Bourbon & Beyond, GoldenSky, and Epicenter.
In 2019, Louder Than Life welcomed more than 128,000 fans over three days, earning its spot as the largest rock festival in America. The unprecedented Trifesta series also included Hometown Rising and Bourbon & Beyond, drawing 289,000 fans over the span of three weekends to the newly created Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center.
Danny Wimmer is also involved in Southern Hospitality Concessions. Southern Hospitality Concessions was founded on the belief that there should be a turnkey solution for outdoor and indoor event concessions. As such, they provide premier food and beverage concession services to all of DWP’s live events.
