Goldenvoice is a Southern California based concert and festival promoter established in 1981. They are responsible for festivals as the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, the Stagecoach Country Music Festival, Cruel World, Just Like Heaven, Head in the Clouds, This Ain’t No Picnic, FYF Fest, Camp Flog Gnaw, Desert Trip, and much more!

In addition to music festivals, Goldenvoice currently owns and operates an impressive portfolio of historic music venues including the Fonda Theatre, El Rey Theatre, Shrine Auditorium, and The Novo.

The company was founded in the early 80’s by Gary Tovar and named after after a strain of marijuana that users said gave them a feeling of being sung to by angels in a “golden voice.” Tovar started off promoting punk shows and while he is no longer directly involved, the company has evolved over the years into one of the most successful concert promoters in the United States under the strategic direction of Coachella founder and brainchild, Paul Tollett.

Currently, Goldenvoice promotes over 1,800 shows and music festivals a year in California, Nevada, Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii and Canada.
